Global Step Academy is proud to announce our GSA Online Super Awesome Summer Camp! This year, we are planning 5 themed-camps that your child will be able to join throughout summer between July 26 to August 27! Sign up early to reserve your spot before it gets filled! Do not miss out!

Become a mad scientists by doing STEAM experiments, discover historic fossils as a junior archaeologist, design your own planetarium, learn how to input STEM into your cooking and create a variety of delicious dishes, get immersed in unique cultures and create spectacular global-inspired crafts, and much more in this year's adventure-packed summer!

About GSA Online Super Awesome Summer Camp:

With a variety of camp themes happening every week throughout summer, your child will be able to have a diverse camp experience this year by learning new skills every day, every week. Along with increasing English study and exposure comes an assortment of life skills that students can take advantage of learning in our camps and apply to their everyday life.

Student Requirements

Several camps will be available for students that meet specific age and English levels.

Here is the breakdown for student leveling:

Beginner Level

Group 1

Age: 5 - 6 years old

ELA Level: ELA Advanced K and up

Group 2

Age: 7+ years old

ELA Level: ELA Standard G3 to ELA Advanced K

Intermediate Level

Age: 6 - 8 years old

ELA Level: ELA Advanced K and up

Advanced Level

Age: 8 years old and up

ELA Level: ELA Advanced K and up

STEAM Adventures CAMP

Our STEAM Adventure Camp focuses on having your child experience constructing all kinds of experiments that tackle basic to complex STEAM-based topics!

Dino Dig Camp

Campers learn how to be junior archaeologists and learn about a variety of time periods, fossils, and of course, dinosaurs! Using an exciting fossil digging kit, students will then dig for physical fossils and determine what kind of fossils they are, and fill in their workbook of all their findings.

Summer Travels Camp

Summer Travels Camp will have your child traveling around the world to experience a variety of amazing cultures. They will learn about the music, food, language, traditions, and all kinds of ways that life in these countries are very different from each other!

Space Exploration Camp

Outer Space Camp focuses on learning about everything related to space! Your child will not only get introduced to all of the planets, but learn all kinds of facts about them and be able to create their own planetarium.

Camp Weeks*:

You can choose when during the week you wish to attend camp!

For example, if you wish to attend the week of 7/26 for STEAM Adventure Camp, you can choose to attend during the 10:00 - 12:00 JST session, Monday to Friday!

Then, if you want to attend any other camp during the same week, you can choose another time to attend that camp as well!

PLEASE NOTE: Students cannot attend different times of the same camp throughout one week. You must choose to attend all camp lessons at one specific time throughout the camp week.

Below is an example:

Allowed:

8/23 - 8/26: STEAM Adventure Camp, all camp lessons at 10:00 - 12:00 JST

NOT Allowed:

8/6 - STEAM Adventure Camp at 10:00 - 12:00

8/8 - STEAM Adventure Camp at 13:00 - 15:00

8/10 - STEAM Adventure Camp at 16:00 - 18:00

Deadline

For camps that occur between the weeks of 7/26 and 8/2, deadline to sign up is by 7/12.

For camps that occur between the weeks of 8/9, 8/16, 8/23, deadline to sign up is by 7/26.

Cancellation

For camps that occur between the weeks of 7/26 and 8/2, cancellations that are requested after the deadline of 7/12 will not receive refunds.

For camps that occur between the weeks of 8/9, 8/16, 8/23, cancellations that are requested after the deadline of 7/26 will not receive refunds.
