Price and Payment Plans

Here is where you will be able to learn about our prices and plans, including purchasing extra coins, changing payment plans, payment charges, and more.

Q. What is the coin system?

A. Global Step Academy online requires a dedicated coin to book a lesson. You can choose a price plan that suits your child's needs based on how often they want to take lessons and whether they need to take more than one course.


Q. What type of payment plan am I on?

A. To find out your payment plan, access your student account and find "Upgrade Plan" under the "Account" tab.


Q. Can I change my payment plan?

A. You can change your payment plan by accessing the Upgrade Plan page as shown above. You will be able to change your payment plan, up until one day before your current charge date, by clicking on the pull down tab shown in the image below, and clicking the yellow "Update Plan" button to finalize the change.



If a pull down menu does not show on your "Upgrade Plan" page, please contact Student Relations one day before your current charge date.


Q. How can I change my payment plan monthly?

A. You can change your plan monthly, whether you would like to switch to GSA Community plan*, become an enrolled student, or to take more lessons during the month.

*If you wish to change from a paid membership to a free community membership, you must contact our Student Relations team by phone or email at least three days prior to the next billing date.

To change your payment plan, please contact our Student Relations team.

Q. How long can I keep coins for?

A. Coins can be kept in your account for up to 5 months.


Q. Can I pay by bank transfer?

A. We do not accept payment by bank transfer. We ask that you pay by credit card.


Q. What credit cards do you accept?

A. We accept JCB, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, DISCOVER.


Q. I want to take a break but I don't want to quit GSA. What should I do?

A. You can drop out of your plan monthly, whether you want to switch to a Community plan*, or suspend your account and take a break by suspension for a while; if you plan on taking a suspension from GSA, please contact our Student Relations team for more information. You are allowed to be suspended for up to 6 months, and no fees will be charged during this time. To drop out of your payment plan, switch your plan, or to withdraw temporarily, please contact our Student Relations team.

Q. How do I quit?

A. To quit GSA, please contact our Student Relations team.


Q. If I apply for withdrawal, what is the withdrawal date?

After you submit your withdrawal application, the withdrawal procedure will be completed in about 3 days. Please apply for withdrawal within at least 3 days before the start of the next usage month. If you do not make an application within 3 days, you will be withdrawn from the usage month after the next month.
