He is a professional member of IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association), and supported over 100 high school & college students to study abroad. Also, he has teacher's license from California State. In November 2006, he founded GLOBAL EDUCATIONAL PARTNERS, Inc.

Michio Montgomery

Chief Executive Officer

After graduating from Babson University in United States, engaged in domestic and global M&A projects at Merrill Lynch Japan Securities Co., Ltd. In 2012 he assumed the position of Representative Director and President of ABC Cooking Studio, the largest cooking studio in Japan. In September 2013, he was inaugurated as the President and Representative Director of GLOBAL EDUCATIONAL PARTNERS, Inc.

Shohei Kameda

Chief Technology Officer

After graduating from graduate school of Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2006, entered Technology department of Morgan Stanley. He retired in 2013, and got involved in the management of several IT businesses. After experiencing several management jobs, he joined GLOBAL EDUCATIONAL PARTNERS, Inc. as a CTO in 2014

Ivan Fedoroff M.A.Ed.

Chief Operating Officer

He graduated from St. John's University and Stony Brook University. He had been teaching math, sociology, English/French etc for more than 10 years at international schools. He also has a New York Teacher Certification. After establishing an English school, joined GLOBAL EDUCATIONAL PARTNERS, Inc as COO in May 2015.

Sangmi Choung

Corporate Officer,Senior Consultant

After graduating from Earlham College with a Biology BA, returned to Japan to study TESOL at Columbia University Teacher's College, Tokyo Campus. Worked as chief of staff at Waseda Academy, Inc.'s IBS branch, teaching English in English to kindergarten to High School children, and contributing to the achievement of EIKEN Grade 1 certificate of a 9 year-old. Started working for Global Educational Academy, Inc. from October, 2016.

Deborah Goodman M.A.Ed.

Corporate Officer, Academic Director

Mrs. Goodman graduated from TUI Graduate School. She has more than 30 years of experience as an educator and has been involved in teaching, curriculum development, faculty management, and Management of the Department of Education. he has worked in many educational institutions both within and outside North America. As an expert in educational methods, she has been involved in public school education, online education for public schools, specialized education for students with developmental disabilities, and homeschooling. Additionaly, she has an andvanced knowledge in educational models for students in Japan and other Asian countries.

Shawn Balm

Corporate Officer, Marketing Director and Product Division Director

Mr. Balm has over 15 years of experience in marketing strategy and digital marketing in US, Germany, and Japan. He has an extensive experience in product design, UI / UX, and customer journey. He achieved significant results during his years at Portal Japan Inc. (Japan), Acrolinx GmbH, and Ableton AG. With his global awareness and extensive background and knowledge, he oversees the Marketing and Product Development team at Global Step Academy Group.

Junji Sakata

Outside Director

Mr. Sakata is a former professional ice hockey player and was the first Asian professional ice hockey player in the European League. In addition to athlete management work, he supervises business development focusing on sports and entertainment in Japan and overseas. He is the CEO of Athlete Ship Co., Ltd., Founder and Director of Smart Coach Co., Ltd., Expert of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology 2020 Tokyo Global Board of Education, and Net Media Advisor at Sponichi Mainichi Holdings.

Masayuki Uchida

Auditor

Mr. Uchida has supported investment and venture companies with their business operation plans and development. With over 25 years of experience, he has an advanced knowledge in business investment and development, venture/unlisted stock investment business, and advisory work for M&A/IPO preparation. He has been in GLOBAL EDUCATIONAL PARTNERS, Inc. as a chief Auditor since June, 2019.

Kagayaki Funakoshi

Legal Advisor

Anderson Mori & Tomotsune Law Office. Mr. Funakoshi is involved in general corporate legal affairs such as securities issuance, initial public offering, corporate merger / acquisition, capital and business alliance, start-up company support, REIT, financial regulation, IT, securities litigation, general meeting of shareholders, etc. in domestic and overseas capital markets. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Tokyo in 2001. He has been a licensed attorney since 2003 (Daiichi Tokyo Bar Association), obtained his law license from Harvard Law School (LL.M.) in 2009 and in New York in 2010.

Takayuki Okabe

Accounting Tax Advisor

Suinas Professional Group After working for a small and medium-sized accounting firm, Mr. Okabe joined an IT business company. As a core member of the Corporate Planning Office, he is involved in business planning, internal control construction, settlement of accounts for corporations and sole proprietors, final tax returns, due diligence, and company establishment.
