Transitioning from language exposure to application allows for Grade 1 students to begin practicing their speaking and listening skills to answer questions and use vocabulary words learned in class. Reading and writing activities are now included to help accumulate the knowledge they are acquiring in each class.

Applying all four core skills into daily life encourages students to apply what they are learning in class to things they see and do every day. Your child will have built up their skill to a level where they are no longer applying their language skills from a memorization standpoint but will use their skills to form organic sentences, express their opinions, comprehend basic reading prompts, and expand writing basic coherent sentences.

ある程度の会話が可能な中級者向け
Students expand their comprehension by focusing on vowel digraphs, spelling patterns, advanced tricky words, 2 syllable words, and continuing decoding texts and building comprehension. Students also focus on comprehension skills with learning the writing process.

Applying all four core skills into daily life encourages students to apply what they are learning in class to things they see and do every day. In Grade 3, students expand the types of text they read. Students read fiction, non-fiction, tales, and myths and continue to expand their comprehension skills. By breaking down different types of text, students learn how to apply their comprehension skills for various scenarios, and continue to use complex vocabulary to express thoughts and ideas.
