We offer a variety of courses aimed at developing critical skills needed to excel on this exam. Our Program
The EIKEN Test Preparation program will cover grades 4, 3, and pre-2 and consist of a core test preparation course, as well as skills bootcamps focusing on vocabulary, writing, reading, and speaking, with assistance from a bilingual Japanese and English speaking teacher.
The EIKEN Test Preparation programs will run 3-6 months prior to the test dates; therefore by the time they have reached the end of our program, your child will be well prepared and equipped with the skills to confidently take the test.
Core Test Preparation
In this course, your child will...
- Learn the EIKEN test format and experience simulated testing conditions.
- Cover a different component of the test each lesson by first completing a mock exam and then discussing the answers with their teacher and peers
- Develop valuable test taking skills such as time management
- Be able to assess their progress each lesson and can then work toward strengthening any areas of weakness
- Be taught by bilingual Japanese teachers to ensure clear understanding of any complex vocabulary, grammar, and idioms

Additional Learning With EIKEN Bootcamps
Our bootcamps are offered as one-time classes that students can take on their own or in addition to the core test prep course. These offer a great way for students to build up their skills in critical areas of the EIKEN exam, to ensure the best possible outcome on exam day!
Vocabulary Bootcamp
In this course, your child will...
- Expand their vocabulary knowledge by reviewing and practicing words frequently appearing on the EIKEN exam.
- Have the opportunity to learn definitions, spelling and contextual use of key words encountered in all areas of the exam.
